Doha, Qatar, September 1, 2026– New Balance is celebrating the arrival of its newest store at Villaggio Mall, with a first of its kind fashion show set against one of Doha’s most recognizable retail landmarks.
As part of the opening celebration, Villaggio Mall’s iconic indoor canals will be transformed into a fashion runway, showcasing the latest New Balance collections from a fleet of gondolas gliding through the waterways. With visitors at the mall being given a front row experience, New Balance brings fashion, movement and the distinctive atmosphere of Villaggio together in a way the mall has never seen before.
Bringing the mall’s iconic canals into the spotlight, the celebration is designed to bring the brand to life beyond the products themselves, creating a space where sport, style, culture and community come together. For Villaggio Mall, it’s the first time one of its most recognizable features will create an immersive experience for visitors.
Beyond the runway, visitors can explore a series of interactive experiences inspired by the energy of a Mediterranean summer. The Fresh Market will bring a playful market inspired experience into the store, while Pearls of Purpose invites guests to discover embroidered patches with messages designed to be worn and made their own. Customization will continue across the space with hot stamping, patches and a charm bar, giving visitors the chance to add a personal touch to their store experience and take a little something from the opening with them.
